The great advantage of advertising here - besides being ridiculously cheap - and providing priceless 1st place exposure in Google, Yahoo, AOL & MSN (under the query "help wanted Victoria BC") - is that, with the odd exception, all your applicants coming from this website are computer literate, responsible, stable and dependable. Computer literacy is obvious - and keeping the monthly commitment of maintaining an Internet access account is ample demonstration of inherent responsibility, stability and dependability. No other advertising medium pre-screens your applicants for these already well demonstrated qualities.
Naturally, though, there will be the odd applicant who has seen your ad on a friend's computer, on a public access computer, or has been told by a friend. But these are the rare exceptions.
And, of course, with the ridiculously low cost of listing your openings here, you can just run your ad for a much longer period of time - and get a far greater selection of candidates!

What we need: Customer's written text via e-mail (preferred), fax or letter with contact phone number. Due to the virus problem, please incorporate the text of your ad into the email; do not send text as any kind
of attachment. Send your logo or letterhead as a .jpg or .gif attachment, clearly labeled "yourcompany.gif", or "yourcompany.jpg". We are sorry, but if your submission is in any other form, again because of the virus problem, it will be deleted sight unseen.
Deadline: 24 hours before listing.
Email: Please cleary state "new classified ad" or "classified ad placement" in the 'subject' line of your email - to avoid being filtered out by our junk mail filters.
Payment: Prepaid with order; cheque (preferred), money order, or cash. Due to the continuing problem of malicious security breaches despite million dollar security systems, we only accept cheques. If we do not have your credit card number, it cannot be stolen - and everyone is 100% safe and secure. [Most recently, the info of 2 million credit cards - mostly from BC and Washington - was stolen from Winners].
When the advertisement needs to be run longer than the contracted period, it must be prepaid for the new period.
*Changes: Please note that due to the extreme low cost of the ad, and the work involved, we have to charge for any changes you may wish to make.
Refunds: Again, and due to the extreme low cost of the ad, and the work involved, we cannot give any refunds if the ad should run less than the contracted period. Please be certain to notify us when the position is filled, to avoid unwanted calls.
