Family Adventures
Georgeous kayaking around Thetis Island
Thetis Island is one of the few places in BC where you can swim in the ocean. At Canoe Pass Cottage, you have a natural pool at your doorstep. At low tide, it turns into picturesque tidal flats which attract many birds. The waters and islands around Thetis Island offer spectacular views and are wonderful for exploring by kayak or canoe. There are many safe routes for those who want to try this sport. You'll see seals, sea otters, cormorants and even whales.
